À propos de notre clientOur client is a major company in the agri-food sector, specializing in the production, processing, and marketing of agricultural products in Africa. As part of its development and to strengthen its financial management, they are looking for a Financial Controller for their subsidiary in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa.Description du posteUnder the management of the Financial Director, your responsibilities will consist of:

Oversee daily transactions including accounts receivable/creditable, bank and general ledger reconciliations
Participate in regular tax audits and payroll management
Prepare budget reports and forecast revenues
Manage month-end and year-end closing (in OHADA and IFRS). US GAAP would be an asset
Organize periodic meetings with operational teams to identify financial and operational risks that may impact the company's assets.

Profil recherchéYou have 8 years of experience as a Financial Controller in the agri-food or manufacturing sector, ideally in Africa
Higher education such as a business school or university equivalent, ideally supplemented by the CPA/CMA/ACCA/CA is mandatory
Experience with US GAAP, IFRS is mandatory
You have spent at least 3 years in an international audit firm before occupying financial management positions in a company
Experience in accounting software (Dynamics Navision, SAP and Sage)
